I can’t believe that summer is almost over! And with that being said , it is time to start putting together our Fall Wardrobe Capsule for this 2023. We will stick with the classics and will add a couple trend pieces just to keep with the flow. As always, I highly recommend to shop at your closet first and then make a list of items that you need to complete your Fall capsule wardrobe. The idea is to mix and match these pieces with any item of the capsule to achieve the perfect outfit. I personally own some of these pieces and will be providing details of the fit and sizing. SHOP FALL CAPSULE WARDROBE 2023
1. BLACK TROUSERS
These trousers are always on stock at Everlane. If you are in need of a good pair of trousers that can be worn all year around, these are the ones. They will be an essential piece to add to you wardrobe. I just ordered the black color however I own the camel color on the same style and my size is 0, 32″ inseam.
2. CAMEL TROUSERS
Same as the black trousers, these ones will be an essential piece in your wardrobe as well. I love the pleats at the front and can be worn formal or casual. Mine are size 2, inseam 32″.
3. FAUX LEATHER LEGGINGS
Ok, hear me out. These are one of the best faux leather leggings on the market. They are comfortable, they do not make noise when you walk and they do not give you a camel toe (you know what I mean). I bought these at Nordstrom and my size is M.
4. DENIM JEANS
I know, jeans are obvious, but need to mention them. And if we go to the specifics, flared jeans are going strong this Fall. I have this pair from Express, they are flared, super comfortable. My size on Express jeans is 4R. Express is very consistent with their sizing on jeans, trust me, I have been buying Express jeans for years!
5. BEIGE TROUSERS
I just ordered this pair. This is an essential color to pair your white and cream tops this fall 2023. I own the camel color on the same style and my size is 0, 32″ inseam.
6. THE BLACK BLAZER
Another basic indeed. Most likely you already have one as part of your wardrobe, if not, I highly recommend this one from Everlane. It is oversized but please do not under estimate it, this blazer will give you the professional and classy look to any of your outfits. I own the camel color, my size is 0.
7. THE CAMEL BLAZER
Of course I need to mention this one! These blazers from Everlane are so good and the quality is amazing. Mine is size 0.
8. CREAM OR CAMEL COAT
Your outfit will level up every time you wear this coat. I own it , bought it for this season and I love it. Mine is size M, I highly recommend you size up if you want to wear it with chunky sweaters underneath. Sizing up will give you more room in the sleeve to fit your chunky sweaters.
9. BLACK COAT
Black coats are the best. You can literally be wearing pajamas underneath and the black coat will make them look fashionable. lol. There is a black coat for all budgets. I am including my favorites in the carrousel below. But, if you want an investment coat with the highest quality that will be part of your closet forever, then this one from Max Mara is the one. I just bought the size
10. WHITE SHIRT
Another basic item that you probably have as part of your wardrobe is the white shirt. This one is made of cotton and it has a classic design. Mine is size S.
11. SWEATSHIRT
A fun designer sweatshirt that will keep you warm and cozy. Pair it with your leggings or black trousers. Mine is size XS.
12. CASHMERE SWEATER
A super soft cashmere sweater is a staple in your fall wardrobe capsule. This one is from All Saints.
13. STRIPED SWEATER
A soft and lightweight striped sweater by Velvet by Graham and Spencer. Mine is size M.
14. TURTLENECK
Another basic that you probably have in your closet. This one is from Everlane and is on sale right now for just $20.
15. CREW NECK SWEATER
The crew neckline sweater is perfect for those days that you do not want to wear a turtleneck. Versatile and cozy. This one is made of soft cashmere that does not itch.
16. WHITE SNEAKERS
I just got these New Balance 550, and wow speaking about comfort, these ones are the ones. lol. They look cool and they are comfortable, they worth every penny. They are always sold out, so grab them when you find them available. Good Luck! (btw, they are true to size)
17. BLACK LEATHER BOOTS
Time to wear boots again!, well, I wear boots all year around to be honest. I own these ones from Everlane and OMG, they are comfortable, comfortable. They are true to size but size up if you are planning to wear chunky socks with them.
18. SUNGLASSES
Make a bold statement in oversize sunnies with chunky square frames. Available on black color as well. Nordstrom $15
19. BASEBALL HAT
Add touch of sporty and casual vibes to any outfit wearing a baseball hat. It can be plain or with logo, whatever is your preference the effect is the same. 😉
20. BLACK BAG
Whether is designer or not. A black bag always is the best accessory to complete the outfit. I personally like bags with handles and that have a structured design.
