I need to confess that Fall is my favorite season of the year; I simply love the change of weather temperature, the fall of the leaves, the cozy vibes that fall bring us when we light on a beautiful candle; fall itself is so versatile because we have a little bit of everything and I am so excited to plan the Fall wardrobe for this 2022!

1. CHUNKY SWEATERS
The chunky sweater is a basic for this fall 2022. Invest on classic pieces that makes you feel comfortable and that will last you for many years to come. The chunky sweater is so so versatile, can be paired with leggings, with a beautiful skirt, with denim jeans, trousers, the list is endless.
2. BOOTS
Boots are essential for Fall/Winter and this 2022 is not going to be the exception. Ankle boots look so cute with a long skirt, or a nice pair of denim jeans for a casual but put together look. My recommendation is that when you are buying booties, you go up a 1/2 size big so you can wear them with thick socks for those chilly days. Booties can be worn with tights if you want to continue wearing your summer dresses on fall. Pointy toe ankle boots with a block heel are a classic and comfortable, they can be paired with jeans, skirts, dresses, pretty much with anything, really.
3. LONG CARDIGANS
For some reason, my brain associates long cardigans with fall. Wearing a long cardigan is just a sign that September is here and that I need to start baking cookies. lol. Long cardigans can be worn between seasons, when there is still 80’F during the day but starts being chilly on the afternoons. I just love how long cardigans look with a simple tee, jeans and booties, ah! That is the epitome of a fall outfit! It looks so simple but put together at the same time.
4. KNIT DRESSES
Let me tell you something, not because it is fall you need to stop wearing dresses , oh no! This is the time to embrace fall outfits and nothing screams more than autumn outfit than a super cute long sleeve knit midi dress!, oh yeah!, pair it with a beautiful leather biker jacket for an edgy vibe or a denim jacket for a casual and effortless look. When you pair your knit dresses with sneakers they look cute and casual. If you feel a little bit sassy wear your knit dresses with your favorite tall boots.
5. COATS
Yeah, for sure one of my favorite items are coats! Invest on timeless coats on neutral colors, so you can pair them with different outfits. H&M has really good timeless women’s coats at very affordable prices. If you prefer to buy designer then you can find really cute ones at Net-a-Porter. But let me tell you that EXPRESS is killing it this season with their coats, they are so stylish and the prices are not to the roof.
6. CAMEL ACCESSORIES
Camel accessories have been a classic of all times; but this 2022 camel handbags, camel belts and camel shoes will be at the top of everything. Invest on classic pieces with high quality so they can last you for years to come. Choose designs that are not trendy, classics will always be around and will give you the flexibility to wear them with any piece that you have on your wardrobe. Classic pieces should not be expensive and / or have a flashy logo. Just make sure that are well made , comfortable and that will elevate your outfit to the next level.
7. FLARED BOTTOMS
The return of the flared trousers and denim has come. I started to wear flared bottoms since my nostalgic collage days, they were the “go-to” piece. Since then, despite the trendy impositions over the years I have been wearing them and I am not willing to let them go. I am so happy that now I can find them pretty much everywhere on different fabrics. When they have a defined high waist they elongate the legs even more and they look incredible with crop tops.
8. HATS
Hats have this magical power to make your outfit a little more interesting. When you feel that you are having a bad hair day or you feel that your fall outfit needs something but you do not know what, wear a felt hat, you will see that your outfit will look amazing. In addition, (and this is the most important thing) hats will protect your head and hair from UV sun rays and will keep your head warm, which is very important on cold months.
